Excellent communication skills and a good sense in working with people with different cultural background. Currently I am nominated QP in Bavaria. Member of the European and German QP Association. 

Summary Professional Career 

From 2000 until 2013 I worked for Intervet International, a Dutch company and world leader in the veterinary industry, since 2010 a subsidiary of MSD. Last position held: departmental head Strategic Procurement for active ingredients worldwide. Previous positions: global purchasing manager and development project transfer coordinator. From 1997 until 2000 I held for Bayer AG Animal Health Germany various positions in R&D. Before that I obtained my degrees in chemistry and pharmacy.

Procurement

• Managing procurement for active ingredients with a budget more than 70 million US$ spend and supporting business of more than 500 million US$
• Setting procurement strategy for active ingredients
• Supplier selection, supplier qualification and supplier management
• Negotiation of supply agreements and supply conditions
• Support of creating synergies in procurement triggered by acquisition (2007 by Schering Plough, US and 2010 by Merck&Co, US)
• Project management for custom made active ingredients (technical matters, quality, regulatory affairs)

Quality and R&D

• Developing and managing a quality assurance system for R&D
• Qualified Person for clinical trial material
• GMP lead auditor with focus on active ingredient manufacturers (more than 40 audits)
• Head of central CMC (part 2) document center for Bayer Animal Health
